Rich Text Formatter — Email, Tables & Social

Paste styled text and tables, edit your document, then copy it into an email editor. Choose a social platform when you need its supported text format instead.

Tables

Safe text and table formatting is preserved. Images, scripts and external styles are not imported. Appearance may vary in the receiving app.

The "ㅤ⎵" button inserts the invisible character U+3164 — for more blank characters use the Blank Text tool.

The draft is saved in your browser only (localStorage) and never sent to a server.

How it works

  1. Use Rich text / Email to paste tables and styling, then copy formatted content. Select HTML source to copy the markup instead.
  2. Choose where you will paste from the menu at the top: WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Markdown, HTML, SMS, or Unicode styles for Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  3. Select text to change fonts, size, colours and alignment. Open Tables to insert a table or edit the cell containing the cursor. Drafts retain document formatting.
  4. On copy, the formatting becomes the platform's exact syntax: WhatsApp *bold*, _italic_, ~strike~; Telegram **bold**, __italic__, ||spoiler||; Discord __underline__. Styles a platform does not support are copied as plain text and flagged with a warning chip.
  5. Check the preview that mimics the chat bubble and the counter: visible characters (an emoji counts as one), UTF-16 length, words, lines and SMS parts against the platform limit.
  6. Press Copy and paste into the app, or open WhatsApp or Telegram directly with the text ready. The draft autosaves in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Unicode bold not work on Arabic text?

Unicode "fancy" text uses special mathematical Latin letters (like 𝐀); Arabic letters have no such versions, so Arabic stays plain. For real Arabic formatting use WhatsApp or Telegram, where *bold* works in every language.

Does fancy Unicode text hurt accessibility?

Yes. Screen readers may read mathematical letters one by one or skip them, and search engines may not understand them. Use them sparingly for short headings only.

How are SMS characters counted?

A message in the basic Latin alphabet (GSM-7) fits 160 characters, or 153 per part when split. Any Arabic letter or emoji switches it to UCS-2: 70 characters for one message and 67 per part.

Is my text sent to your server?

No. Conversion, counting and preview run entirely in your browser, and the draft is stored in localStorage on your device only. Your text is never sent to analytics either.

Does WhatsApp support lists and quotes?

Yes. Since 2024 WhatsApp supports bulleted (- or *) and numbered (1.) lists, quotes (>) and inline code (`). Old app versions may not render them.
