Output is an opaque PNG. Do not resize it or convert to JPEG; social-media compression can destroy the hidden data.

A selected file replaces the text payload. Capacity depends on image dimensions; video payloads usually need a large image.

Optional encryption password

Hiding is not encryption. Add a password for AES-GCM encryption; a forgotten password cannot be recovered.
